Okay so you’ve had a look and decided to create a Google+ page for your business – you may have even seen our page here and thought ‘WOW’ I want one of those!
Well the good news is that any business can create a Google+ page to promote their company, products and services.
Once created you can then add the usual features like video and images, however, the great thing about Google Plus is that you can create ‘circles’ of people, and then follow them from your business page.
This is a great feature, for example, say you create a circle called ‘Business Contacts’ and add the people you do business with, you’ll then be able to click on ‘Business Contacts’ in your ‘Stream’ section to see only posts from those people.
The main and obvious benefit of this is that you can segregate people you know into pots (circles), and then communicate directly to them or look only at their activity.
What Are Good Examples Of Google Plus Circle Names?
Well here at Wampit we’ve created the following circles:
- - Wampit Customers
- - Team Members
- - Business Contacts
- - Interesting People
So we’ve dragged and dropped people into these circles and can now follow their activity / updates by clicking on those streams.
How Do I Login To Administer My Google Plus Business Page?
We thought we’d answer this question as we had a bit of trouble finding the link to administer the page (especially when you have a personal Google Plus account too).
You need to know this because once you’ve created your page you’ll then want to add content and your status updates about your business / products or promotions.
First log into your Google account then click on this link: https://plus.google.com/pages/manage – you should then see your business Google Plus page listed. Now simply click on the blue ‘Manage’ button to gain administrator access.
In Summary
Don’t delay and create your Google + Business Page today by clicking on this link: http://www.google.com/+/business/
